Band BioAmethyst is all about having fun and entertaining the crowd. We are a great group of musicians from central New York. We are a high energy cover band that plays a wide variety of music. Amethyst plays in local venues all over northern and central new york and are not afraid to travel for a gig. We have a wide variety of musical influences stretching from the counting crows, matchbox 20, and Nickelback all the way to Metallica, Motley Crue, and Ozzy. We also give back to our community, we do many benefits to help our community out and also host our local relay for life for the American Cancer Society. We also have lots of great original songs and recorded a CD called "Don't Eat the Brown Trout". We are always working on more originals and are looking for new places to rock out and spread the music. The members of the band are Joe Battles (lead vocals) Brian Kelly (Bass) and Andy Bouchard (drums). We are ready to rock your socks of and hopefully if your reading this we'll see you soon!!!
